Connect with Perplexity
With the MCP connection, you can use your PDT data directly in Perplexity. This allows you to ask questions about your portfolio, analyze your dividend income, or get a summary of your portfolio allocation through a simple chat conversation.
Adding custom connectors in Perplexity is only possible with a paid account. If you have one, connecting usually takes less than a minute.
Step 1: Go to Perplexity and open Customize. You will land directly on the Connectors page.
Step 2: Click the + Add custom connector button, then choose + Add custom connector again. Enter the following details:
- Name:
Portfolio Dividend Tracker (PDT) - MCP server URL:
https://mcp.portfoliodividendtracker.com
The Description field is optional and you can ignore everything under Advanced. Then click Add.
Step 3: Connect your PDT account.
You will be redirected to Portfolio Dividend Tracker automatically. Log in with your PDT account and give Perplexity permission to access your portfolio through the MCP connection. Thereafter, you will be redirected back to Perplexity.
Step 4: Open a new chat in Perplexity and ask a question about your portfolio.
